Another week down the drain

I STILL haven't got my film back from this new lab I found. They promised me faster times than Southern Photo, but that hasn't been the case so far. That or they don't have my number. Just another reason to get a Canon 20D. First comes the laptop, next is the camera. I also need a damn printer. Seems like I'm a million miles away from my goals. :(

I wonder if Duncan got on that plane today. The last time I saw him I didn't want to say goodbye because I knew it would start to sink in. But we said goodbye anyway, and I couldn't find the right words. He'll be back sooner than later and I can always harass him online, right? :)

I've been doing nothing but working this week. Monday started it all with a afternoon meeting with my shiny new boss in Rockledge. He went over the paperwork and any questions. Boring as hell, but I had to sit there and pretend I was having fun. Tues thru Thurs I got to drive back and forth to Orlando for even more fun. Those were my official "Training Days" and it consisted of waking up at the crack of dawn, getting on the road, and sitting in a tiny studio taking pictures of each other until we got it all down JUST RIGHT. By 11AM on Tuesday (the first day) I was bored. I had asked all the questions and learned all that I needed to take pictures of Middle school students. They paid for the training and mileage, so I guess it all works out. These people are retards and they don't know what they're doing, even though they take pictures "professionally". I'm slowly learning that just because someone claims their professional doesn't necessarily mean they actually are. I'll only be working with them if I absolutely have to (which is the case at the moment).

I was invited to myspace so I joined, but don't expect too much from it as I can barely keep up with this and DeviantArt. Speaking of that, why don't all you fabulous readers check my DA account out and post some comments so I don't look so new. And I don't care if you're harsh, it's all just a fucking learning experience. I need to upload the rest of my pictures, but it takes forever.
